BLOODY GRAS

Ah, Bloody Gras — the party that started it all! It was the first major immersive nightlife event that Drunken Devil put on, a horror-themed spin on a traditional Mardi Gras soirée. Taking place at an obscure building in the DTLA Arts District, Bloody Gras was part warehouse party, part haunted house, and part interactive experience.

Guests chatted with themed revelers and a voodoo queen as they tried to escape a mysterious serial killer; enjoyed themed cocktails provided by Tito’s Vodka and beer by Lagunitas; danced to a live hot jazz band; and enjoyed jazzy burlesque performances by acclaimed local stars. Halfway through the night, the infamous Axeman of New Orleans appeared, taking out one of the primary characters, and turning the narrative on its head! After the final act, the lights dimmed and guests danced the night away to a disco set.
