A RITUAL, COMPLETE

When two petty thieves attempt to rob a Craigslist psychic, they get more than they bargained for in this suspenseful, hair-raising horror short.

A Ritual, Complete was my very first short film (not counting all the terrible college shorts I made). It was shot over the course of two weekends, on a shoestring budget and a skeleton crew. I was inspired by the idea of "the horrors behind closed doors,” and what your neighbors might be up to when no one’s watching. The result was a stylized, wicked little romp steeped in melodrama, camp, and the occult.

The film was selected to play at the 2016 HollyShorts Screening Series for their October edition.
